This waterproof junction box is suitable for cables with an outer diameter of 4-11 mm. The junction box is equipped with 3 cable glands with sealable rubbers to ensure a good seal. This junction box is suitable, for example, for underground installation to route a power cable to one or more ground spotlights. Naturally, this product is also suitable for other lamps or purposes. If you use only two cable glands, the unused gland must be sealed or puttied; otherwise, this connector will no longer be waterproof. The dimensions of this hermetic waterproof connector are: length 120 mm, width 62 mm, and height 39 mm. Furthermore, the junction box is also suitable for 3-core cables.
Example: You would like to connect 2 ground spots (or more). You can achieve this using this waterproof IP68 junction box. The power cable enters through one cable gland, the power cable from the ground spot enters through the next gland, and the following gland ensures that the power cable is routed to the next ground spot. By attaching a connector at the connector power cable to order, you can easily connect your lighting.
