The best lighting for a hotel varies by space and desired atmosphere. Our lighting advisors and project managers have extensive experience in hotel lighting. Together, we develop the optimal lighting solution that combines comfort, ambiance, and functionality, from the lobby and restaurant to hotel rooms and meeting spaces. We guide you through the entire process: from lighting advice and design to delivery and implementation.

Below you will find some guidelines specifically for hotel lighting.Of course, we tailor everything to your location, interior, and desired atmosphere:

- Colour temperature: usually 2700K–3000K for a warm, welcoming appearance in lobbies and rooms, and 4000K for a fresh, professional look in work and meeting spaces.

- Beam angle: use 25º–40º for accent lighting (e.g., art, reception desks) and 60º–90º for uniform general lighting in hallways and common areas.

- Colour rendering (CRI): choose CRI90 or higher to make the colours of fabrics, furniture, and materials look natural and luxurious.

- Light output: on average, we recommend fixtures of 1500–3000 lumens, depending on the function, from soothing lighting in rooms to bright light in reception and work areas.

Step 1: Introduction

The first step is simple: contact us! You can do this by email, phone, or by using the form at the bottom of the page. During this conversation, we will discuss your requirements, type of business, and work environment. This gives us a clear picture of your goals and lighting needs. Step 2: Create a light calculation

Once we understand your situation, our lighting advisor will create a technical lighting calculation in Dialux. This plan includes a floor plan with the exact positions, light intensities, and beam angles of the fixtures. This allows you to see what the final result will look like in advance and which lighting is technically the most efficient. The lighting plan is not only the basis for the desired result but also a practical tool for the installer during installation.

Step 3: Discuss the lighting plan

After the initial version of the lighting plan, we will discuss all the details together. We will demonstrate how the lighting optimizes your workspace in terms of light level, energy savings, and comfort. During this consultation, you can provide feedback or add specific requirements. Step 4: Create a quote

With the final lighting plan, we select the LED fixtures that best match your requirements, budget, and desired quality. We work exclusively with reliable brands and energy-efficient products that meet current standards. Our quote provides you with a clear overview of the investment, savings, and expected lifespan, so you know exactly what to expect.

Step 5: Delivery and Installation

Upon your approval, we will schedule the delivery of the products at your desired time. Do you not have an installer yet? We are happy to assist you through our network of experienced professionals. If you already have your own installer, we will ensure they receive all the necessary technical information. This ensures the installation proceeds smoothly, safely, and according to plan, allowing you to immediately benefit from optimal LED commercial lighting.
