LED round downlights
LED round downlights or LED recessed spots are slim and modern ceiling lights.
Round LED downlights use less electricity and have a long lifespan. This directly halves your electricity bill. Moreover, the round downlights are more modern and attractive and provide more light than halogen downlights. Round LED downlights are mainly used in office buildings, waiting rooms, hospitals, shopping centres, supermarkets, etc.
Downlights provide a beautiful light distribution and feature indirect light, which ensures that you are not blinded when looking at the lamp.
What should you consider when purchasing round LED downlights?
When purchasing round LED downlights, you should pay attention to the following points:
- The dimensions of the LED downlighters. Round surface-mounted downlighters should overlap the cover plate. This creates a cleaner look, ensuring the cover plate is no longer visible. It is therefore important that your round downlight is larger than your cover plate. For this reason, carefully check the dimensions of the surface-mounted downlighters.
- IP rating of the downlights. Installing lighting in your bathroom or a damp area? Then pay close attention to the water resistance of the round downlight. If the IP rating on the front of the downlight is IP44, it can be installed in damp areas such as bathrooms.
- The light colour of the LED downlights. When selecting the downlighters, the colour of the light is also important. For example, use warm white (3000K) in waiting rooms and stores.Or daylight white (6000K) in industrial halls or warehouses. If you have any questions about the colour of the light, we recommend that you read: ‘Colour temperature (Kelvin) and light colour’ .

You can also install downlights in a ceiling. This is most commonly done in a suspended ceiling, but it can also be done in other ceilings. You need to cut the correct size out of your ceiling. Then you place the LED downlight in your suspended ceiling. Once you have done this, you can connect the downlights to the mains power.
Round LED surface-mounted downlights
We not only have recessed downlights, but also surface-mounted downlights. These are attached to ceilings. This can be done quickly and easily with the included mounting material. Our LED surface-mounted downlights can be mounted on virtually any surface. You can then connect the downlight to the mains power.
CCT (3 light colours) round downlights
If you are unsure about the best light colour for your business premises or would like to switch between different light colours, you can achieve this by ordering a round CCT downlight.
CCT stands for Colour Change Temperature, which means that you can change the light colour of the downlight. With these LED recessed spots you can determine the colour of the light. This can be done via the button on the back of the round downlights. You can easily switch from warm white to daylight white. You can also choose from different colours, namely: warm white, natural white and daylight white.
