What is the best Industrial LED lighting?

The best LED lighting for your business depends on the space. Our lighting advisors and project managers have extensive experience in industrial lighting. We guide you through the entire process: from lighting advice and design to delivery and implementation.

Below you will find some guidelines for industrial lighting. Of course, we tailor everything to your building, activities, and lighting needs:

- Color temperature: usually between 4000K and 6500K for a bright, neutral to cool light color that promotes concentration and safety.

- Beam Angle: use 60º–120º for uniform general lighting in halls and production areas, and 30º–60º for focused light on work zones.

- Color Rendering (CRI): choose CRI80 or higher for reliable color perception during assembly, inspection, and quality control.

- Light Output: on average, we recommend fixtures of 5000–10000 lumens, depending on the height of the space and the nature of the work.

Step 1: Introduction

The first step is simple: contact us! You can do this by email, phone, or by using the form at the bottom of the page. During this conversation, we will discuss your requirements, type of business, and work environment. This gives us a clear picture of your goals and lighting needs. Step 2: Create a light calculation

Once we understand your situation, our lighting advisor will create a technical lighting calculation in Dialux. This plan includes a floor plan with the exact positions, light intensities, and beam angles of the fixtures. This allows you to see what the final result will look like in advance and which lighting is technically the most efficient. The lighting plan is not only the basis for the desired result but also a practical tool for the installer during installation.

Step 3: Discuss the lighting plan

After the initial version of the lighting plan, we will discuss all the details together. We will demonstrate how the lighting optimizes your workspace in terms of light level, energy savings, and comfort. During this consultation, you can provide feedback or add specific requirements. Step 4: Create a quote

With the final lighting plan, we select the LED fixtures that best match your requirements, budget, and desired quality. We work exclusively with reliable brands and energy-efficient products that meet current standards. Our quote provides you with a clear overview of the investment, savings, and expected lifespan, so you know exactly what to expect.

Step 5: Delivery and Installation

Upon your approval, we will schedule the delivery of the products at your desired time. Do you not have an installer yet? We are happy to assist you through our network of experienced professionals. If you already have your own installer, we will ensure they receive all the necessary technical information. This ensures the installation proceeds smoothly, safely, and according to plan, allowing you to immediately benefit from optimal LED commercial lighting.

Hoeveel lux is vereist voor industriële verlichting?

Volgens de NEN-EN 12464-1 norm ligt de aanbevolen lichtsterkte tussen 200 en 750 lux, afhankelijk van de werkzaamheden. Voor algemene productieomgevingen volstaat 300 lux, terwijl precisiewerk en inspectiezones tot 500–750 lux vragen. Een professioneel lichtplan bepaalt exact de juiste waarden per werkzone.

Wat is de beste verlichting voor een fabriekshal of werkplaats?

De beste industriële verlichting biedt helder, gelijkmatig licht met hoge energie-efficiëntie. LED high-bay armaturen zijn ideaal voor fabriekshallen, magazijnen en werkplaatsen dankzij hun krachtige lichtopbrengst, lage onderhoudskosten en lange levensduur. Ze verbeteren zicht, veiligheid en productiviteit.

Hoeveel energie kun je besparen met LED industriële verlichting?

Met LED verlichting kun je tot 70% energie besparen ten opzichte van conventionele TL- of gasontladingslampen. LED-armaturen hebben bovendien een levensduur tot 50.000 branduren en vereisen nauwelijks onderhoud. Dat maakt ze duurzaam en rendabel, zelfs in 24-uursproductieomgevingen.

Welke IP-waarde heb je nodig voor industriële verlichting?

De juiste IP-waarde hangt af van de omgeving. Voor droge hallen volstaat IP40–IP44, maar in stoffige of vochtige ruimtes is minimaal IP65 aan te raden. In omgevingen met hoge temperaturen of dampen zorgen armaturen met een hogere IP-waarde voor betrouwbaarheid en veiligheid.

Op welke hoogte moeten LED-armaturen in industriële ruimtes worden gemonteerd?

De montagehoogte varieert per haltype. - Low-bay verlichting (3–8 m) voor kleinere werkplaatsen. - High-bay verlichting (8–15 m) voor hoge fabriekshallen. Het gebruik van optieken of lenzen zorgt voor gelijkmatige lichtverdeling, ook op grote hoogte. Een Dialux-lichtplan bepaalt de optimale positie per armatuur.
