The image shows the internal workings of a 3 Phase Rail. There are 3 phase wires (L1, L2 and L3). These phase wires can each be combined separately with the neutral wire (N). Thanks to the phase wires, this rail system makes it possible to create three different circuits on one rail. These 3 circuits/phases can be switched on and dimmed independently of each other.This is very useful when you only want to activate part of the rail system. This way, no unnecessary lights are left on.
