The following points are important when purchasing LED surface-mounted downlights.
- Dimensions of surface-mounted downlighters: The surface-mounted LED downlights must cover a mounting plate. Therefore, first measure the minimum size the downlight needs to be. Pay careful attention to the dimensions of our LED surface-mounted downlights. You can find this in the description of our products.
- IP rating of the LED downlights: Do you need lighting in damp areas, such as the bathroom? Then pay attention to the IP rating of our surface-mounted downlights. If the front of the surface-mounted LED downlights is IP44, then it can be installed in the bathroom.
- The light color of the LED downlights: When choosing an LED downlight, selecting the light color is of course also very important. For example, use 3000K (warm white) in waiting rooms and stores. The light color 4000K (natural white) is suitable for your office or supermarket. Our surface-mounted downlighters are installed on the ceiling. This can be done quickly and easily with the included mounting material. LED surface-mounted downlighters can be installed on virtually any surface. The surface-mounted LED downlights feature a plug-and-play system. This means that the downlights are supplied including power cables, allowing you to easily connect them to the mains power supply (220-230 Volt).
CCT (3 light colours) LED surface-mounted downlights
Are you unsure about the best colour for your business premises or would you like to easily switch between multiple light colours? You can with our LED CCT downlights! CCT stands for Colour Change Temperature, which means that the light colour of the surface-mounted downlight can change. With these LED downlights you therefore have the freedom to determine the light colour. This can be done via the button on the back of the surface-mounted downlight. This allows you to easily switch from warm white to daylight white. You can choose from the following different colours:
- 3000K downlights: this lighting creates atmosphere. This LED light colour is often used in homes.
- 4000K downlights: this lighting provides a natural light colour. This LED light colour is commonly used in, for example, supermarkets, shops, offices and other spaces where a natural atmosphere is important.
- 6000K downlights: This lighting provides bright white light. This LED light colour is commonly used in, for example, hospitals, factories, garages and laboratories. These LED downlights are not used in homes.
Mounting LED surface-mounted downlights
Installation is very simple. Position the LED downlight and connect it to the mains using the connection cable. Press the switch to turn on the downlight. Installation is therefore very easy thanks to the plug-and-play system.
