This energy-efficient PHILIPS double LED batten IP65 has a length of 120cm with a consumption of only 2x 18 watts. You save up to 80% on your energy costs. This double LED batten comes standard with the two corresponding 120cm LED tubes included. This replaces all "old" fluorescent tubes of 2x 36 watts. Therefore, you do not need to buy a separate LED tube. The LED tubes are replaceable. These IP65 waterproof battens are very suitable for damp areas or for outdoor wall mounting. This single 60cm LED batten is powered directly on one side with mains electricity (220-240V); this batten no longer contains a starter or ballast. The LED tubes are also powered directly on one side with 220-240V. This is much more energy-efficient because a ballast also continuously consumes power and can also fail.

IP Rating

This waterproof LED tube fixture has an IP rating of IP65. This means that the fixture is completely waterproof and dustproof. This allows you to place it anywhere, both indoors and outdoors. This fixture is primarily used in commercial halls and stables.

LED fluorescent fixture installation

Installing an LED fluorescent fixture is very easy. All necessary mounting materials are included, such as mounting brackets, screws & plugs, cable glands, etc. Thanks to the stainless steel mounting brackets, this waterproof fluorescent fixture is very quick to install. This LED fluorescent fixture is powered directly on one side with mains electricity (220-240V); there is no longer a starter or ballast (VSA) in this fluorescent fixture. The LED fluorescent tube is also powered directly on one side with 220-240V. This is much more efficient because a ballast also continuously consumes power and can break down.

1. Make sure that 220-240V power cables are present at the location where you want to mount the LED fixture.
2. Take the stainless steel mounting brackets and screw them to the ceiling, wall, or another surface.
3. Click the waterproof LED batten into the stainless steel mounting brackets.
4. Connect the power cable to the fixture (it is powered on one side only, so no cables run to the other end. This end cap/socket serves purely as a "dummy" to keep the LED tube in place.)
5. Insert the LED tube into the fixture, placing the end with the LED tube specifications into the socket/fitting of the LED batten where you connected the 220-240V power.
6. Attach the waterproof transparent cover.
7. Turn the power back on and enjoy the light output of LED lighting.
