This emergency light serves a dual purpose: it provides standard illumination and activates automatically during a power outage. This eliminates the need to install a separate standard lamp and emergency lamp side by side.
Standard and Emergency Lighting in One
When connected as standard, the fixture remains continuously lit whenever mains power is present. If you wish to use it with a switch, simply remove the jumper between the LS and L terminals and supply a continuous (L-terminal) and a switched (LS-terminal) power feed separately. This allows you to turn the fixture on and off with a standard switch, while it will automatically switch to its internal battery and stay illuminated during a power outage.
One-Press Functionality Test
Checking the functionality is as simple as a single press. The test button on the front allows you to simulate a power outage, and the green indicator light confirms that the battery is in good condition. This is convenient for the periodic inspections required for all emergency lighting.
Indoors and outdoors, built to last
The LiFePO4 battery lasts for three hours, well above the legally required one hour, and is replaceable. You can surface-mount the fixture indoors or outdoors, thanks to its waterproof and impact-resistant housing. The box includes four interchangeable pictograms, allowing you to indicate the correct escape route.
