What's included in the set and how do you configure the system?
This complete 1-phase track system with spots in white consists of two 75 cm aluminum track sections (1.5 meters total), four white PLUTO track spots with a GU10 fitting, an I-shape connector, an L-shape connector, and a power connector. The included connectors provide you with two immediate configuration options: the I-shape for a straight setup along the ceiling, and the L-shape for a right-angle layout. The white finish is a deliberate choice for interiors with a light color palette. The fixture is less conspicuous on the ceiling and enhances a calm, modern, or Scandinavian interior. Need a different configuration? With additional track sections and separate connectors, you can also create a U- or T-configuration. The aluminum track can be cut to size with a hacksaw, and the pre-drilled mounting holes make installation straightforward. The track spots are rotatable and tiltable, allowing you to aim each light point with precision.
Which GU10 bulb should you use with this track system?
The PLUTO track spots have a GU10 fitting and are suitable for LED bulbs up to a maximum of 35 watts per spot. The bulb you choose depends on the space and the desired effect. For a cozy living room or bedroom, a 2700K warm white bulb is the best choice. In the kitchen, a neutral 4000K bulb works well for bright, functional light on the countertop. Do you want to be able to control the light intensity? Then choose a dimmable GU10 LED bulb and combine it with a suitable LED wall dimmer. The track system itself does not have a built-in dimmer.
When should you choose a 1-phase track system?
A 1-phase track system turns all spots on or off simultaneously via a single circuit.This is the standard choice for home use: easy to connect to mains power (220-240V), suitable for the living room, kitchen, and bedroom, and can be operated directly via a standard wall switch or dimmer.
