What should you consider when choosing showroom lighting?

Our lighting advisors and project managers have extensive experience with lighting for showrooms. Together, we search for the optimal lighting solution that ensures strong product presentation, a professional appearance and a pleasant atmosphere — from the entrance to the presentation zones, circulation areas and advisory or checkout spaces. We guide you throughout the entire process: from advice and lighting design to delivery and implementation.

Below you will find some guidelines specific to showroom lighting.Of course, we tailor everything to your location, products, and desired aesthetic:

✅ Color temperature: often between 3000K and 4000K, depending on the type of products. 3000K for a warm and luxurious feel; 4000K for a fresh, neutral presentation in which colors stand out clearly.

✅ Beam angle: use 15º–40º for targeted accent lighting on products, displays and presentation islands; 60º–90º for uniform base lighting that keeps the space open and well-organized.

✅ Color rendering (CRI): choose CRI90 or higher to display colors, materials and details true to life and convincingly — essential for product experience and sales.

✅ Light quantity: on average, we recommend fixtures of 1500–4000 lumens, depending on the height of the space and the intensity with which the products need to be illuminated.

Step 1: Introduction

The first step is simple: contact us! You can do this by email, phone, or by using the form at the bottom of the page. During this conversation, we will discuss your requirements, type of business, and work environment. This gives us a clear picture of your goals and lighting needs. Step 2: Create a light calculation

Once we understand your situation, our lighting advisor will create a technical lighting calculation in Dialux. This plan includes a floor plan with the exact positions, light intensities, and beam angles of the fixtures. This allows you to see what the final result will look like in advance and which lighting is technically the most efficient. The lighting plan is not only the basis for the desired result but also a practical tool for the installer during installation.

Step 3: Discuss the lighting plan

After the initial version of the lighting plan, we will discuss all the details together. We will demonstrate how the lighting optimizes your workspace in terms of light level, energy savings, and comfort. During this consultation, you can provide feedback or add specific requirements. We will incorporate the improvements into a final version, ensuring the plan perfectly aligns with your business and daily operations. Additional instructions: For a webshop in LED Lighting

Step 4: Create a quote

With the final lighting plan, we select the LED fixtures that best match your requirements, budget, and desired quality. We work exclusively with reliable brands and energy-efficient products that meet current standards. Our quote provides you with a clear overview of the investment, savings, and expected lifespan, so you know exactly what to expect.

Step 5: Delivery and Installation

Upon your approval, we will schedule the delivery of the products at your desired time. Do you not have an installer yet? We are happy to assist you through our network of experienced professionals. If you already have your own installer, we will ensure they receive all the necessary technical information. This ensures the installation proceeds smoothly, safely, and according to plan, allowing you to immediately benefit from optimal LED commercial lighting.
