- A voltage tester

The installation: Before you start installing the wall lamp, it is important that you switch off the power. When the light on the voltage tester is no longer on, there is no voltage present.
- Attach the mounting bracket. Use a screwdriver to detach the mounting bracket from the fixture and position it against the wall using the plugs. After securing the mounting bracket, you can screw the fixture back onto it.
- Connect the electrical wires to the terminal block. When installing a wall lamp, it is important that there is an electrical connection at that location. At the connection point you will see three different wires. If this is not the case, you can strip the wires using the wire stripper. Insert the electrical wires into the various openings of the terminal block and then secure them with the screwdriver.
- Attach the fixture. Once the electricity is connected, you can attach the wall lamp fixture to the mounting bracket. This can often be done using two screws on the side.
- Screw the bulb into the fixture. When the wall lamp is in place, you can insert a light source. When placing a light source, you must take the maximum wattage of the wall lamp into account. This can be found on the wall lamp packaging. Screw the light source into the fitting and then switch the power back on.
