🔧 Installation of LED T8 Fluorescent Tubes
Replacing old fluorescent tubes with LED fluorescent tubes is simple and often plug-and-play. Follow these steps when using your existing fluorescent fixture:
Step-by-step plan: Installing fluorescent tube with LED starter
- Switch off the power
- Remove the old starter
- Twist the old fluorescent tube out of the fixture
- Insert the new LED starter
- Insert the new LED fluorescent tube
- Switch the power back on
✅ Note: this method is suitable for a few tubes.
❗ Not recommended for 8 or more tubes: In older fixtures, ballasts (VSA) and starters can cause voltage problems. In the case of large installations, this can lead to increased load, cable melting or even fire hazard.
