1-Phase Power Rail
Using a 1-Phase power rail allows you to assemble your own rail system. The rails are available in various lengths and colors and can also be cut to size. With 1-Phase power rails, electricity flows between two wires. The electricity runs between the neutral wire (N) and the phase wire (L). As the rails have two wires, all track spots are on a single phase. This means that all LED light sources on the rail are controlled together. Surface-mounted track rails are mounted flush against the ceiling. This means you do not need to make any adjustments to the existing ceiling. Furthermore, this type of rail is also quick to install. Recessed track rails are routed into the ceiling, which requires a little more work to install but ensures a very sleek finish. In new-build homes, many consumers choose a recessed rail.
