Philips LED Tube Fixture Information:
This single Philips LED tube fixture has a length of 150cm with a consumption of only 20 watts. This tube fixture comes standard with the corresponding 150cm LED tube. It replaces all "old" 58-watt fluorescent tubes. Therefore, you do not need to purchase a separate LED tube. This single 150cm tube fixture has an IP rating of IP22 (drip-proof) and is therefore only suitable for moisture-free areas. This tube fixture is linkable with multiple fixtures; you can feed the cable through the fixture to the next one. This fixture is compatible with all 150cm LED tubes. This LED tube fixture is made of light and sturdy aluminum, and the housing is finished in a matte white color. Due to its high-quality construction, you receive a 2-YEAR warranty!!
The installation is very simple. You can mount the LED tube fixture directly to the ceiling or wall with screws; the screw holes are pre-drilled. This LED tube fixture is powered directly on one side with mains power (220-240V); this fixture no longer contains a starter or ballast. The LED tubes are also powered directly on one side with 220-240V. This is much more energy-efficient because a ballast also continuously consumes power and is prone to failure.
Installation of the Philips LED Tube Fixture:
- Ensure that 220-240V power cables are available at the location where you intend to mount the LED fixture.
- Screw the LED tube fixture to the ceiling, wall, or another surface.
- Connect the power cable to one socket of the fixture. (The other socket does not require a cable connection. This socket serves as a "dummy" to hold the fluorescent tube in place.)
- Slide the sockets into the designated openings.
- Place the cover over the sockets and around the fixture and press it firmly into place. Then, turn the plastic clips into the holes that are still visible on the underside.
- Place the LED fluorescent tubes into the fixture, ensuring the end with the specification sticker is inserted into the socket connected to the 220-240V power supply.
- Switch the power back on and enjoy the light output of your LED lighting.
