What is a transformer?
When you have found the right 12 volt recessed spotlights, you need the right transformer.
It is easy to calculate which transformer you need. For example: 15 recessed spotlights with a 35W lamp. The total power is then 10 x 35W = 350W. With the following transformers you can easily install this; you take:
- 3 transformers of 150 watts –> 12 volts
- 4 transformers of 100 watts –> 12 volts
In total you then have 450/400W, which is sufficient to connect all the spots.
